Unseen Dylan Footage From 1966

wpe3E.jpg (3561 bytes) Some never before seen footage of Bob Dylan, dating back almost 30 years, is about to resurface. Mickey Jones, a drummer who played with Dylan during his 1966 world tour recently unearthed the film, which he says was sitting in his garage collecting dust. He says he never gave it much thought - though now he is releasing them for the first time, "I just took my home movie camera to kind of document my trip going around the world," Jones said. "it adds a little bit more texture to the world of Bob Dylan photographs," Jones, who is now 61, played with Dylan when Dylan's regular drummer, Levon Heim, dropped out.

The film shows Dylan and his band -- who would later become The Bend -- on stage, in hotel rooms, taxis and buses, and walking the streets of Europe.

The 91-minute movie, titled "1966 World Tour, The Home Movies," is available only at Jones' website: http://www.1966tourhomemovies.com.
